There's a place for you in our parish Music Ministry! Whether young or old, experienced or a novice, you're invited to sing in one of our choirs or play as an instrumentalist.
Right now, we're in need of brass, string, and woodwind players, as well as drummers -- amateur or professional. Put your talent at the service of others!
From Mass each Sunday to funeral liturgies throughout the week, the Music Ministry helps lead our parish in prayer through sacred music and song.
Here's more about our different groups:
ADULT CHOIR - for singers of high school age through adult. Rehearsals are Monday evenings from 8 to 9:30. The choir sings each Sunday at 10:30 Mass.
CHILDREN'S CHOIR - for grades 2-5. Rehearsals are held each Monday afternoon from 5 to 6 in church. The children sing each Sunday at 9 am Mass.
HOSANNA - our praise band is for children and adults, singers and instrumentalists, from grade 5 and up. Families are especially encouraged to participate. HOSANNA sings each Sunday at 12 noon Mass and has a brief rehearsal afterward, until 1:30 pm.
RESURRECTION CHOIR - leads music at funeral Masses weekday mornings throughout the year.
Taking part in our parish music program is fun and a great way to meet some very fine people! And as St. Augustine so eloquently stated: "Those who sing pray twice!"
